Attached picture won't email

I've got a small web page that I'll be sending out via email as a quarterly newsletter. In the FrontPage (2003) editor, I choose File, Send, and my Outlook client comes up with my webpage (now html email) all ready to go except that the only embeded gif file on the page doesn't show up. I have to right-click the blank square, click on Properties, browse to the gif file and then and only then does it show-up and actually email along with the rest of the page. Anyone seen this before? I'm running out of hair to pull...Thanks in advance.

Either make the image links absolute (for your online server location) or in IE File Save a Web Archive (.mht)

IMHO
send a text only version w/ a link to an online version
- for security reasons many uses only accept / read text only emails and in Outlook 2003 all images are "blocked" by default for
security reasons
