Attachements in signed forms

I have created a form that has an attachement. I can attach files and view
the attached file until the document is signed. Once done you can no longer
view the attachement. I understand that I cannot modify it but it seams
logical to still be able to view it.

Is this a known issue?

If the file attachment is inside a section that you digitally sign, it is
true that you cannot interact with the attached form. This is by-design.

If you sign the entire form instead, you should be able to interact with the
attachment. Did you sign a section or the entire form?

Is it only other people who have the problem or do you experience this
yourself?

I think that by signing it you also encrypt the attachments such that someone
else whose public key you have is the only one who can open it. What would
be the point of signing something that you created for your use?

I think it is a digital signature thing.

Look on MS web site under certificates to understand more about the
certificate-encryption process.
