Hi Everyone
I am creating a DB for my insurance company. I need to have the ability
to save/attach file such as .doc, .tiff, and .pdfs to a specific
client.
I am using Access XP, Office XP, and Adobe Acrobat 5.0. I have read
alot of other threads regarding this subject. I Understand the you can
attach file using OLE Objects to paste to the file but that wasn't
recommended by a few individual do to Access 1GB Limit. I have read
about using HyperLinks which sounds like my best bet.
I would like to have a button on the Client Screen that I can browse
for the file I need to attached. Have Access store the file in a
storage Folder, Assign it a hyperlink for the client, and allow me to
add a description of the file in a list for future viewing.
I was hoping that someone out there has create a sample DB like the
sample for WordMerge20.mdb that I can use as an example to work off of
or is their a product that I can buy?
