Attaching labels causes MDB corruption in Access 2003

I'm having trouble with Access corruption during forms design when I want to
attach or detach a label for a textbox. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

What symptoms of corruption are you experiencing?

Sometimes the mdb just closes, creates a backup and reopens. Sometimes it
closes and I can't reopen the form I was working in. It only happens when
working with labels. I've spent the past several years working with adps so
going back to mdbs has been interesting. I'd forgotten about these problems.

problems.

That's not a problem I have experienced. On the other hand, I frequently
detach labels, but rarely reattach them. It also is not a problem I've seen
discussed in the newsgroups.
