Attaching Multiple Zip Files II..Sorry- this is the Corrected Ques

Hello- I currently am using Micosoft InfoPath 2003. I recently built a
simple Report Request form that basically has two areas that is completed by
two different groups/individuals within our organization. The top area of
the form is for the individual requesting a report. They basically indicate
the type of data report they need and then save and close the form. The top
area of the form also includes a file attachment option where the requestor
can attach a zipped file containing data for their request.

The lower area of the same form is then to be completed by the actual data
analyst who is pulling the data for the requestor. This area also includes
its own file attachment function where the data analyst can then add a zipped
file showing the results of the data pull. So in other words, it is common
to have two attachments to these forms- one from the requestor and the other
from the data analyst. All files attached to this form should be zipped to
ensure the file saves appropriately and to conserve space. We also want all
the attachments on the same form so that we can easily track all the requests
and their various data components (a one stop shop).

Scenario and Issue

When the requestor initally fills out the top have of the form and attaches
a zip file, the browser via the File Attachment function is able to display
all files with a .zip extension. The end user then attaches their zipped
file, saves and closes the request. All is good. Days or weeks later, the
Data Analyst will complete the request, go to the bottom area of the original
form initated by the requestor, and then attach their zipped file that has
the data results. However when the data analyst opens the original form and
tries to attach a new zip file, the browser does not display any files with a
..zip extension. The browser displays all the excel, word etc files....but
not zip files. Very bazaar. Obviously this is very frustrating. Has anyone
else run across this issue. Have I set up the form incorrectly? Are you
only able to attach a zip file to a form during the initial attachment
process...after that your out of luck. This doesn't make sense. Any
advice/thoughts/work arounds would be greatly appreciated. Just an FYI...I
did notice that I was able to attach numerous zip files to a form when I
initially filled out the form for the first time....however once I save and
close the form, then go back into it, the browser will not display any files
with a .zip extension. Again..any help would be greatly appreciated.
