attaching sound files

I can attach .wav files to my powerpoint and this works well but when I try
to reduce the file size by converting to mp3 and attach these files they
cut off part way through playing the sound. Help please

We always need to know what version of PowerPoint you are using, since often the
answers differ by version.

What animation settings have you applied to the MP3s?

thanks sonia ppt 2002 effect options: from beginning; stop play on click;
start after previous

If you want the music to continue on to the next slide, set it to stop after XX
slides. Otherwise it's going to stop on the first mouse click.
