Attachment icon missing

Currently running Outlook 2003 and a couple of messages in my Inbox are
missing the attachment icon. I know there's an attachment there for several
reasons: 1) I read it last week and 2) If I forward the message to myself, I
can see it and 3) The message itself has about 10 lines of plain text but
the message size is 50 KB (The word doc attached is about 42 KB)

How can I "refresh" this?
