Attachment & mail merge

I am using Outlook to perform a mail merge for mass e-mailing. My attachment
gets dropped when I send my e-mail. The attachment is there in the outbox
but gets dropped and is not there in the sent mail folder. Any reasons?

Outlook does not support attachments in merges to electronic mail.
You'd need a third party alternative.
