Hi,
I have an issue with sending attachments in Outlook 2002 and I was hoping
that someone might be able to explain to me why this is and how I might
correct this.
Let me give you a little background, every user in my environment has Office
XP on their PC and each client is configured as a Windows 2000 Professional
system.
I have a few users in my environment that has their Outlook 2002 client
setup to Compose emails as HTML. If the HTML composer has the option "Use
Microsoft Word to edit email messages" checked off under 'Tools' | 'Options'
| 'Mail Format' tab, and they want to send an email with an attachment, the
only options available to them from the 'Insert File' dialog box are 'Insert
' or 'Insert as Text'. If the HMTL composer has their Outlook 2002 client
setup to Compose emails as HTML and "Use Microsoft Word to edit email
messages" is unchecked, the user will get these options 'Insert', 'Insert as
Text', or 'Insert as Attachment'. It appears to me that no matter what I
do, if the user has their Outlook 2002 client setup to Compose emails as
HTML then the option to 'Insert As Hyperlink' is not an available option.
Can anyone explain to me why that is and if there is a way to correct this
so that people who compose in HTML can have the option to 'Insert As
Hyperlink'?
Thanks in Advance,
Jeff
