Attachment Truncation

I have a client that seems to continuously have
attachments truncated when pulling emails thru a PPTP
VPN. If not on a VPN, it seems to work fine. Secondly,
when I hook another system to the VPN and pull the same
email, it works fine. So, I've narrowed it down to his
machine. He has all the latest XP service packs and
updates and Office XP service packs. We have also
downloaded the latest network card drivers. Nothing
seems to work.

Any ideas?
