Attachments in Public folders

Bert

Good morning everybody,

We are using office XP and exchange 5.5. For our students we want to use
public folders. All permissions are set. The problem is that if we do a
posting to a public folder with a attachment, we can't open the attachment.
The error message is can't open attachment or attachment is missing.
Sometimes after a few hours we can open the document, sometimes after a few
days and sometimes never. The latest service packs are installed. has someone
a solution for this.
PS. Sorry for my english, i'm from the netherlands. I tried to find a
solution here but nobody can give me an answer

Thanks

Your English is good enough! I'm from the Netherlands as well by the way ;-)

Anyway, does it work for you when you first save the attachment to disk
instead of directly opening it from within Outlook?

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

Good morning Roady,

I can see the pictogram of the attachment but i have to open the message. I
then get the error message could not open one or more attachment. As current
view y have selected messages. Those attachments y can open y can see in the
lower part of the screen. Those y cannot open y can't see, only the pictogram
in the upper half
