Attachments - MS Outlook 2000

Below is an excerpt of an email I received from a friend.
They were using Office 97/Ms Outlook and have since
upgraded to MS Office 2000 Premium and have run into this
problem with attachments using MS Outlook.

Well, the message that I replied to was in the sent items
box only, but without your attachment. What does that
mean? I know that a few months ago I would have had
your original message in my inbox, complete with
attachment and my reply along with original message in the
sent items.


Any help in this matter is truly appreciated.
