I get a message the is power point can't read C:\documents and setting\my
name\local settings\temporary internet files\content.ies\286tzhwo
does anyone kn ow why I can't open the files I get in my email?

The files in your temporary internet files folder are cached files. You'll
get files in there if you, for example, open a file from within Outlook by
double-clicking it in the email message. I wouldn't expect those files to
open again after youi've deleted the email, though, because they're not
really *saved* in the temporary internet files folder.

If you open a PPT file from within an email message, you then need to go to
File/Save As and do a true save of the file if you want it to be available
later.

what I did was to move the files to a new folder in my email box. After that
I could open them all for a long time then one day nothing I guess I will
have to take it to best buy were I gotr it and let the geeks there look at it.

The files in your temporary internet files folder are cached files. You'll
