Can you please expand upon server-side scripting and
database?

I'm having trouble with nav buttons appearing mixed up
after publishing. But they are in order when I preview
them.

Can you help?

I will check out your side, http://www.net-
sites.com/sitebuilder/newsgroups.asp to see if that helps.

Thanks, Diana

My site is actually the link right below my name. However you will not find
any info on either of the two link regarding using a database and
server-side scripting, such as ASP, ASP.net, PHP, etc. for navigation.

Personally I do not use FP navigation components, since these are
design-time component, created when you save the page or images for links as
they must be created before hand, both method remove the ability to change
them on the fly.

I use database driven navigation mainly when I am generating most of a
site's content from a database, this allow for links to be turned off/on as
needed based on the availability of content or in cases where a user's login
determine what content they are entitled to access via a specific or common
link.
