Audio file extensions for use in Front Page

I'm trying to add background music to a web page using Front Page. I realize
you use Page Properties to do so, however, when I browse for an audio file,
none of the music files I have on my computer are being recognized. The
music files on my computer are associated with MusicMatch Jukebox. Does
anyone know of a way to get Front Page to recognize these files? Thanks.

I believe 'background music' (using bgsound= ....) in web pages is actually
limited to Wav and Midi formats.

You can use a plugin for others - eg Media Player, Quicktime, Real Player etc
etc. but this relies on the person viewing the site having that plugin, or having
a player that will play the particular music file format

What format are you trying to use? -- MusicMatch Jukebox??? --- Never heard of
it but I expect it will depend on people having the player to play those
files.....

I would think FP would only recognise standard media formats. I tried inserting
a plug-in but it didn't list any "MusicMatch Jukebox" thing. or under ActiveX
either.

Can you convert these files to something like MP3, or WAV or whatever?

Thanks for your help. Somehow, I thought CD tracks were in WAV formats, but
I guess not. I downloaded a program to convert CD tracks to WAV, and now it
works. I think its easier this way than using a plug-in. The website where
I got the converter program is http://www.mp3towav.org/CD-to-MP3-WAV-Maker/.
