Audio skips during playback

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I'm adding an MP2 clip to my PPTX presentation that I want to play "Across" all slides and loop. I've made these settings. When I play the presentation, the audio sound output skips during playback. Any thoughts on what I may be doing wrong? Fixes?
