audio-video file won't continue playing

Gerald Robison

I have a slide that contains both video and audio. The
audio is supposed to continue playing after the video
times out or when I click to the next slide. It works
fine in PowerPoint 2000, but when I try it in 2003 -- it
doesn't. When the slide changes the audio cuts off.
I've heard this is a problem in 2003, but I don't know
how to fix it.

Also, I don't know how to find your reply (I'm new to
bulletin boards and news groups) - Is it possible to
have your answer sent to my e-mail ([email protected])as
well as here? -- I haven't the faintest idea as to how
I'll even know if someone responds.

Thanks -- Gerald

When you post a question using the web interface there is an option to be
notified of replies.

In PowerPoint 2000, did you set up the audio file to allow the slide show to
continue and to play the audio accross, for example, 999 slides? Can you open
the presentation in PowerPoint 2000 and check the settings and let us know?
