audio/video synchronization for movies in powerpoint

No wonder. it isn't synced. Your computer is set a day ahead, the video is
just trying to catch up. (vbg)

Could it be a corrupted codec?

Have you done your housekeeping lately? Delete all temp files and then
defrag the hard drive.

1. How can I guarantee audio / video synchronization for movies inserted
into PPT?

Avi files inserted normally (Insert - Insert Movie - Movie from file) never
synchronize. Take an audio/video movie clip which play perfectly in Windows
Media Player and insert into a PPT show on the same system. It will be
horribly out of sync.

2. Assuming the only solution to this problem is to insert the clip as a
Windows Media Player object, how can I keep Media Player 9.0 from trying to
launch full screen during the show? This disrupts the video signal and
causes external lcd projectors to temporarily lose the signal.

PPT XP

Tested on both P4 laptop and desktop PCs. We have also tested under Windows
2000 and XP.
