Hello
I still have problems regarding the authentication of users in the groove
Relay Server. I've read almost all papers about it on the internet and the
problem are still there. Is here somebody that can help me?
We have a relay and a management server. They have one network card.
Internaly they habe both an IP with NAT to a public IP-Address. Alle
necessary ports are open. As far as I know SOA Settings over Port 8009 are
responsible for the communication between Relay a Manager. I could
successfuly import relay into manager and Register Manager on Relay.All
DNS-Entries are correct, but if i did a netstat -ano i could never see an
etablished connection between Relay and Manager. The Relay is listening on
port 8009, but nothing happens. Why my manager could not communicate with
manager internaly? If i do a telnet to the relay on port 8009 it works, but
only if i take the internal ip adress. I I do it over the external ip it
doenst work, could this be the reason? Both systems as host-file entries
with the internal ip-addresses...
