Authentication Issues

I am working on setting up a test project environment that is exactly as
prod. We are looking to test installing Project Server SP3 on the test
environment before doing prod. Included will be moving databases to another
SQL server. So far we have cloned the Project Server and changed the name
of the server. Moved the databases to a test SQL server. Sharepoint looks
good but when I try to login to Project Server we get the error "Project
Server was unable to log you on at this time. Please try again later.
(5006)". It should be enabled for domain windows authentication and
shouldnt even prompt for a password. We used the Editsite tool to update
and set the Sharepoint config and content databases. Is there something we
missed setting up? Thanks.

two things to try:

1. open edit site - select the virtual directory - under site infomation -
session manager ensure that the correct server name is configured.

2. add the admin user on all servers "Access this computer from Network"
Local Security Policy.

HTH - please rate this post if it helped
