authentication options for 2007 pwa

Hello,
In our PS2003 environment, PWA gives us the ability to set a user to windows
authentication or project server authentication. I would like to be able see
this functionality in our ps2007 test environment. You can set the user to
forms authentication, but when you try to "sign in as a different user" with
that user, it prompts only for a domain account. I looked at the sharepoint
central admin setting for 3.0 and it seems that i can only choose windows or
forms but not both.

Is there a way that i can set PWA to use both forms and windows
authentication?

Forms authentication in PS 2007 is different from Project Server
authentication. Forms Authentication is a method that SharePoint provides
for authenticating users. It requires additional configuration, and unless
you have a compelling business case, the effort to set this up is generally
not worth it. (For example, there is no user interface for resetting
passwords.)

See if you can get a hold of a test Active Directory account or two and use
these by changing the Windows user account for the users that you need to
test access with.
