I have a client that daily gets authentication failures. I have reset the
password for her account on the server, this is not an exchange server. When
I reset the password on the server and then she retypes the information she
gets on. Now of 20 people she is the only one having this problem and I am
leaving recreating the e-mail account on the server as a last option until I
know whether or not it is her computer or not. So i guess the question would
be should I be recreating the Outlook account and hope this fixes it or
should i be trying to go through the process of clearing her saved passwords
through the registry and then recreating them in the control panel. This
problem did not occure until I showed her how to create new e-mail accounts
on the server and she chose Remember this information when she entered the
server via her browser.
