Authorising digital certs in Office

Chris Strug

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can possibly help me. My company is currently
developing a sharepoint install, a lot of which involves Office 2003 -
specifically Word.

When attempting to use the sharepoint features we get the standard warning
regarding macro security (all of our installs have their macro security set
to medium as a default) prompting the user to allow the macro to run.

I was wondering if there is a way of signing our sharepoint based macros to
run without the security warning (i.e. make them a "trusted" source).
Obviously as the macro is based on our intranet, clicking the "Trust All
Installed Addins and Templates" options doesn't make a difference.

I've heard things about a Windows Server 2003 feature which will manage this
kind of thing but haven't been able to actually find any information about
it?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Kind thanks

Chris.
