"Auto-Adjust" or "Can Grow" feature for Visio 2003 Standard boxes

I am importing organization chart information for a large organization
through MS-Access. I can easily get the information to import through my
query, but I am having problems with formatting in Visio. Given the size of
the organization, I generally split what is shown of the organization over
several pages (actually, over 43 pages). This data in Access changes often,
so updating the information in the organization chart occurs regularly.
Essentially, I am using Visio as a report generator for Access, instead of
the Access report features.

The fields that are included in the Visio boxes vary in size from very
little text to long strings (50-100+ characters). Right now, I can either
change box size globally, reformat each one individually, or as groups on
each page. First, is there a feature in Visio 2003 Standard that will allow
each box to self adjust to a size that accomdates the text? If not, then is
it possible to "link" a Visio file to Access (or Excel) file in order to
allow for updates in the Access (or Excel) to be displayed in Visio when
updated? This way, I only need to format my Visio boxes once, instead of
every time I query my database.

Very simple. open the shapesheet of you shape. Look in the "Windows menu".
In the Shape transform section replace the value in the Width cell with this
formula : TEXTWIDTH (TheText)
