I've got a report that I am trying to auto adjust the left position of the
fields to be just a few spaces from the longest field in the previous
columns. This report is set up in the standard column appearance. I have
tried to adjust the size manually but the data that is input into the fields
can vary and makes it hard to do when there are both short and long fields.
Basically the gist is I want to maximize the use of the space on the report
by adjusting the position of the fields automatically.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? Any help is appreciated.
