auto advance

all areas of powerpoint appear to be working except the auto advance
function. it has worked for a long time but just stopped last week.

Quick guess.

Checkout Slide Show > Set Up Show

Make sure in Advance Slides that "Manually" is NOT checked.

Also on the same slideshow setup screen make sure under "show" "ALL slides"
is ticked
