Auto connect not working

Ramesh

Hi,

I had a setup earlier where Outlook was in the startup folder and whenever I
logged on Outlook would start and also the Dial up connection would start
too.

I recently installed my system and now I dont find the Dial up connection
starting up. I have tried setting up the Internet connection but makes no
difference.

I have run all the updates on the Windows and MSO. Could this be a block to
this setting?

Thanks for any help.

Ramesh

You provided no information that would permit an answer.
State your Outlook version, mail account type, connection type and automatic
polling interval.

Sorry Russ. I thought this would suffice.

MSO 2K, Win XP Prof. I use a DSL modem which uses a dial up connection to
connect.

Previously as I boot up and logon, Outlook used to start too and also the
dialup box used to be up for the password simultaneously. I dont remember
how that was done. Would like to have the same setup done again.

Thanks
Ramesh

Try setting your connection type to LAN and configuring an automatic polling
interval.
