Auto Correct Restoration Errors

B

Beda Abella

While transferring auto correct entries to a new computer,
I received an error message about spaces. MS apparently
has recognized this as a problem (Knowedge Base Article
#275322). I followed MS's directions to a "T" and it still
gives me the same error.

The text that is causing the problem are addresses -- and I
have ZILLIONS of them on the business computer. The last
two times I upgraded, I had to go through and
retype/re-enter each and every address. Please tell me
someone out there knows a solution to this problem and I
won't have to retype all these blasted addresses again.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/ExportAutocorrect.htm for
better macro

Thank you for the information, but I am unfortunately not computer savvy enough to work it. I was able to download it, open it, and run it by disabling the macros so it would run, but when the debugger(?) screen appeared, I was totally lost and didn't know what to do next. If there is a simple explanation to this, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll just have to re-enter all those addresses

I did read the info at mvps.org, but there again, I'm not much of an expert in this area and was kind of lost. Thanks again for your help.
