Auto delete emails

Is there anyway I can set email to auto "selfdestruct"
once the recipient has read my emails using Outlook 2003?

Any advice on settings or an add-in would be much
appreciated.

Thank you,

With Windows Right Management you can restrict the e-mail from being
forwarded, printed or copy its contents. You can enable this by pressing the
icon on your toolbar with an envelope and a prohibited sign through it.

many thanks for this. However, Windows Right Management
tools is far from ideal. It requires the recipient to
verify its credentials with .NET Passport. The recipients
I deal then would simply refuse this outright (and so
would I!).

What I am looking for is is an add-in:
email sent to the recipient can only be read by that
individual (Outlook could check this by noting the email
address in settings).

Once the email is read:
- it would self-destruct directly or after x-number of
days
- and/or cannot be forwarded (selfdestruct if forward is
attempted).

Does this exist and if so where can I get such an add-in?

Thank you,

John D.

PMJI, but if the recipients aren't going to use a Passport, what makes you
think they're going to install such an add-in? And if they don't have the
add-in installed, how are they going to read your protected message?

Bottom line is that the sort of security that you're talking about has to be
controlled from *somewhere* outside the email program itself. WRM is just
one of several security services you can choose from -- see
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/security.htm#services .

Once the bits are on the other person's computer, they belong to thatr
person and they can do what they want with them. There is no tool that can
ever prevent the recipient from doing whatever s/he wants.
