Auto deleting of an open messages from inbox that have been replie

You could sort on the Icon, Select and delete. Rule wouldn't apply to
messages at that point.

You either need to do it yourself (use a view to hide or show the messages)
or use a utility list Auto-Mate to delete them after a period of time. It
