I have a mailing list in excel. I want to be able to filter by city 2 ways.
Flagstaff only and anything but Flagstaff.
I selected a cell in the column, went to Data, Filter, Auto Filter and Choose the city Flagstaff.
It filters the list but has lots of cities that are NOT Flagstaff.
At he bottom of the sheet it says 2180 of 3484 records found. This doesn't make sense. There should be 4705 total records.
I think I have something turned on or off that shouldn't be. I took an older version of this mailing list that is a week out of date to play with it. It worked fine. I got a list of all of the lines with Flagstaff as the city and I was also able to get a list of NON Flagstaff cities.
However I need to filter the current document. It seems that the program is working, I just have something wrong on the current mailing list. I am gong around in circles trying this and that. I sure would appreciate any suggestion.
