Auto Filter function

I opened up a 5.0/7.0 version in excel and I do not understand why aut
filter is disabled. I checked to make sure that the workbook wa
unprotected and it is but it still does not enable the auto filter fo
me.

Does anyone know how to enable the autofilter

I haven't used that version in awhile.

Any chance that the worksheet (not workbook) is protected?

Or the worksheets are grouped?

When you say "Disabled" do you mean the Auto filter menu item is greyed
out? Are there any macros in the Workbook.
