Auto filter no longer comes up

I have been able ot use the autofilter feature until today. Now when I go to
filter the autofilter selection doesn't come up.
I recentley thined out the data to another sheet.

Is the worksheet protected?

Do you have multiple sheets grouped together (look for [Group] in the title bar.
