Auto flow table in Publisher 2003 over several pages?

How can I get Publisher 2003 to autoflow a word or excel table to autoflow
over several pages in a document? Or is there a workaround?

Tables do not overflow in Publisher.

After much nashing of teeth I came to that conclusion...
I did, however use a workaround, saved the excel listing to a word table,
then converted the table to text, tab delimited and pasted it in to
publisher. Klunky and requiring had massaging but it finally worked.

MS might consider creating this capability. many of us build club or
organizational rosters in excel and want to print membership lists in
publisher...

I've inserted long tables into Publisher. It took a little finagling but it
wasn't that big a challenge. Tasks like that aren't something Publisher was
"designed" to do but I'll put up with a little work with that to get the
wonderful layout features any day!
