Hi!

I want to insert a Excel-document into a Word-document. The Excel-doc contains more rows than that will fit on a A4 paper so I'll need several pages in the Word-doc.
The problem is that when I insert the Excel-doc it will only appear on one single page in the Word-doc. So in this case the spread sheet is so tiny that I can not see what it says. I need to make the spread sheet use several pages in Word so that the letters will be of a normal size.

Embedded objects cannot span more than one page. Is there a reason you can't simply link to an external workbook? Some link formats allow the linked range to span page breaks.

Ok, thanks!
Yes I that might work. But I have this Issue. The Excel-doc is exported from SolidWorks (CAD-prg) and it contains a picture of each drawing and some information about the drawing.
This spread sheet I want to show in the Word-doc. To get the pictures as I want to get the text from the Spread Sheet, there is not that many options.

I have attached the Excel-doc that was exported from SolidWorks.

Having now seen your workbook, I'd be inclined to:
1. reduce the image sizes to about 60% of their current sizes.
2. reduce the row heights to match the image sizes
3. reduce the first column's width to match the image sizes
4. Apply text wrapping to cell A1
5. Copy & paste the used range into Word as a plain Excel table
6. Apply the 'heading rows repeat property in Word.
Some additional formatting might also be required, before or after the pasting.
If you're doing this often, the process could be automated with a macro.

Thank you macropod!
I'll see what changes I can do in the export of Solidworks.

I might reach out to you again.
