Auto Height Shapes resize with Cross Functional Flowchart bands

I have a cross funtional flowchart in which I use Auto-Height shapes for the
text. When I increase the functional band size, the auto heigth boxes expand
as well, even though the size is now greater than the amount of text. Any
ideas what causes this behavior, and how to stop it?
