Auto Hyperlink not workink

Previoiusly every time you enbtered an email address into a cell it would
automatically recognise it, then it would promt a blank email.
This just stopped the other day. and even in the help files they say it
should automatically do it.
What to do ???

Tools--->Autocorrect Options

Select "Autoformat as you type" Tab

Check "Internet and network paths with hyperlinks"

Hope that was it!!
