auto recovery problem

Help!

My document was saved with auto recovery and the program
performed an "Illegal Operation" so I had to shut it down.
I went to go open the auto recovered document and it says
that the documents name or path is not valid. It is just a
regular .asd file like it is supposed to be. I really want
this document back. Please help!

Try reregistering Word by using Start, Run and typing in

winword /r

and pressing enter. If you have Norton AV, disable the Office Plug-in in NAV
under the options menu. Test again.

Only Word can open an .asd file. It should be presented when you next start
Word.
