Auto Recovery is turned on. Where does it store the files - so I can recover the auto recovery file?

AutoRecover Data files aren't "stored" anywhere - they are temporary files
which are purged when the file/program generating them is closed/Quit
normally. They're only used if the program or system crashes and at most
they contain only those changes made since the most recent manual save prior
to the crash. They aren't even created for a new file until it has been
named & saved at least once.

Do you have a specific reason for asking?
