auto recovery

is there a way for excel to recover (similar to Word)when
the computer shuts down due to a power glitch or power
failure ???

Excel 2002(XP) has the Autorecovery feature.

Can be configured under Tools>Options>Save.

You can try the demo from www.recovermyfiles.com . Excel has probably left a
temp file and this program will help you find it.
