I have a client location that the original install for Outlook 2003 had the
checkmark for Automatic Send/Receive every X minutes selected. This morning,
I had to go to every machine a reset that function. There was a mail server
(Exchange 2003 pre SP1) crash the weekend before last. What causes the Auto
send/receive setting to go off without user interference? Several users
reported that e-mail was sitting in the outbox for a long time and also
reported that mail wasn't arriving until they logged in at work. That
setting was the first thing I checked. Anyone know why?
