Outlook 2003 - When I start typing a name in the To field, it auto-suggests
addresses from every e-mail i've ever sent instead of just sticking to my
contacts list. How can I streamline that feature to reduce the number of
addresses suggested?

Autocompletion has nothing to do with your Contacts. It uses a cache of
addresses derived from messages you have sent.
Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. If your autocomplete list contains only a single entry, use the
directions here:

To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:

You may also want to look into our autocomplete editing utility. You can
find it at www.dcs-imaging.com/products.htm. It's called Owtlook. Or, you
take the advice of people in these newgroups and delete one entry at a time,
or worse delete the entire NK2 file??? The latter suggestion makes no sense
to me since so many people have come to rely on the contents of this file.
Keep in mind that the NK2 file will only hold 1000 contact records so it is
something that needs to be managed.
