Auto Sum doesnt work

When I try to an autosum in a cell, it doesnt show the calculation, it still
shows the expression. Anyone know why?

Cell is either formatted as text or you're looking at the formula layer.
1st case: reformat as General (ctrl/shift/tilde (~)) and reenter;
2nd case: ctrl/tilde(~) to show value layer.
