Auto Sum

All I did was add a footer to the entire workbook and
saved the changes. Then when going back to the individual
sheets to insert a new payment in a column the auto sum
would not add it to the total. This did the same to all
the sheets in the workbook. I am at a loss as to what
happened as everything was working correctly before I did
the change.
How do I correct this?
