Auto Text in Header and footer

A member of staff cannot use auto text facility in Header and Footer it is
greyed out. All other staff members have no problems. OS XP, Office 2003. Any
Ideas?

This is usually an indication that a document has been saved as Normal.dot.

instructions on renaming Normal.dot (or just start with the /a switch) to
see if that solves the problem.
