Auto Text in Word is no longer working

I use to have a choice in auto text for header/footers. I could place file
name at bottom of document. It is not there anymore. I installed spybot and
adware recently. Could this have taken it away? If so how can I get it back?

Complete absence of AutoText usually suggests that you have saved a document
as Normal.dot. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/BlankDocNotBlank.htm
