I inserted a picture, auto thumbnailed it, and updated my published site.
When I click on the thumbnail. The picture doesn't show. I have used this
function many times and it has worked. Please help.

Hi Kiti,

What is the URL? Are you using IE with SP2 if so do you have pop-ups turned off?

Did you import the image into your current open FP web prior to inserting it on a page and creating
the thumbnail image?

Hi MD. Thanks for the quick reply.

I am using IE, and I remember I have SP2 installed. As I posted in the
original question, auto thumbnail always worked for me until this time. I
noticed that when I select the image file in my FP Folder List menu to
preview the image, it would show. All other image files would show.

The url is http://salicule.poctkits.com

Hi Thomas, the picture with the same file name was originally in the same web
page. I re-worked the picture in Photoshop and saved it and re-imported it to
FP. I tried to delete the pic and the thumbnai from the folder list. Still it
wouldn't work.

It is very strange. Can anyone answer this please.
I inserted another picture and thumbnailed it next to the one I have problem
with. The secodn thumbnail works!

The next I changed the file name of the first picture out of FP and
re-inserted it in the spot where I inserted the second picture. It doesn't
work!

I re-inserted the second picture next to the two doesn't-work thumbnails. It
works.

It seems FP recognizes the same picture with different file names and refuse
to accept it! I have never had such an experience. Please help.

Your site is hosted on a Unix/Linux server which is case sensitive, so you need to check the case of
the link with the actual filename of the image, they must be exact.

Ex: "Index.htm" under Unix/Linux is not the same as "index.htm" whereas it would be considered the
same file under Windows.

Which one doesn't work
The only one on your home page works

(I'm a tad confused with the filename changes) What name does not work?
If you are using Norton/MacAfee security, or Zone Alarm, or add/popup
blockers, they may be blocking the image based on its name.

Alternatively, when you worked on the image in Photoshop, did you use CMYK
or RGB palettes? The CMYK will not display on the web.
