I have a doc that works fine... I am told I have to reformat it :)))))

I have it setup in outline to generate a TOC at the beginning of the document (Chp1., 1.1, 1.2,...). It generates a beatifull TOC with links. I am told I have to remove the linefeed after the title (See ex.). How do I do this, automatically, without having the complete paragraph show. I have a 300 page un-symetrical multilevel doc. Ex.1 shows current layout and Ex. 2 shows what I have to do. How do I satisfy the @#$%$$#
