Hi all,
I hope I can find the answer to this question here.
I have set up Outlook 2002 on my WinXP system at home. I
am retrieving e-mail from POP accounts, so no exchange
server involved.
I am having a difficult time setting up Autoarchive. I
activated it, and assigned Autoarchive properties to each
of my folders under my inbox, as well as the inbox
itself. I am using the default preferences, which are set
up to move items older than 6 months. The only deviation
I have made from the standard setup is I have it set up
so that my outlook.pst file and archive.pst files are in
C:\outlook, which I have set up as a share so that I can
access them with my laptop (no, the laptop is not
connected when I try to run Autoarchive). When I run
Autoarchive, it creates the folder directory structure in
the archive file, but no messages are moved. Yes, I do
have messages stored that are older than 6 months (some
by several years).
Anyone have any tips on what I may be doing wrong?
Thanks for any help you can provide
