Autocomplete--date missing comma

Erik

When Autocomplete inserts a date, the format lacks the traditional
comma between the day and the year. Today it gives me July 1 2003.

Since I can't find any discussion about this, is it something
formatted with my installation or has the power of Microsoft dictated
a change in usage?

In any case, can I change this quirk?

Try the date format in the regional settings. July 1 2003 (with or without a
comma) is hardly a 'tradtional' date format.

Yes, the US does a lot of things in silly ways. I wouldn't care apart from
the tendency to drop bombs on countries that would rather do their own
thinking.
